Michael Yasinski, MD
My mission is to provide the most personalized care and support in your journey of healing trauma and feeling better

Compassion
Compassion is key. I draw on my experience as a psychiatrist and my own life struggles to relate to you with no judgment. Compassion allows me to connect with you, make you feel comfortable and ultimately help you.
Passion
I have a passion for human connection, including making meaningful connections with each patient. My treatment approach is simple: I marry the needs of each patient with the most relevant ideas in the field of psychiatry to create effective treatment plans.
Optimization
Optimization is my end goal for every client. Together we will take attainable steps to help you to feel better. Then we will figure out all of the underlying pieces to your individual puzzle. Together we will pave the path of healing your trauma and optimizing how you experience life.

Philosophy of Practice
I am passionate about helping you feel better, engage in life to the fullest and heal your stored trauma. I am not traditional in terms of how I practice. I believe in identifying all underlying causes. I rely heavily on my training in the trauma therapy modality called Somatic Experiencing. My approach is to help you understand how physiologically stored trauma is impacting the way you think, feel and engage in life.
We work together to support you through healing your nervous system. We use tools like medications when necessary, good nutrition, optimizing sleep, focusing on movement and paving a path forward in small digestible steps to ultimately achieve a healed state.
My mission is to walk this journey with you. I provide the most personalized psychiatric care experience and am available to you between sessions. You never feel alone or unsupported. I provide 60 minute appointments because it is crucial to spend adequate time with each client. The client-doctor relationship is key to achieving a successful outcome and I don’t believe shorter appointments achieve this.
I believe in supporting your ability to heal yourself. I am with you on the journey to support and guide you but I feel all humans have the ability to draw on our innate ability to self-heal.
